Starting the same weekend as the National Juvenile Indoor Championships, several St Cocas athletes competed at the 2026 European Masters Indoor Championships in Toruń, Poland.
The championships opened with High Jump coach Werner Olivier in the M50 event. Werner cleared an outstanding 1.75m to claim silver 🥈, along with a personal best and a new national record, just weeks after winning the national indoor title.
On Monday, Emma Wallace, also fresh from her national silver medal, competed in the W50 800m, comfortably qualifying for Tuesday’s final in 2:35.03. She then ran 2:34.94 in the final to finish an excellent fifth overall.
Alex Wallace rounded off the club’s performances, starting with silver 🥈 in the M45 5K road race in a fast 15:25. He followed that with another silver 🥈 in the 8K cross country, finishing in 26:43.
