The all Ireland u9 to u12 championships took place in Tullamore today and our Leinster winning u11 relay teams took their place among the best in the country. Small margins are the difference in these races and today was no different. The u11 girls running in heat 2 came in 2nd place and had an agonising wait to see if their time was good enough for a podium position. A 4th place finish was the final result just .2 of a second off the 3rd place.  ZOE,  TARA, PIPPA, MAYA, NATILDA AND AMELIA the team. 

The boys u11 were in a similar position. Heat 2 and came in 6th place. Overall finish 11th. Just over a second away from the medals. QUIN, LEO, HARRY, GARBHAN, DANNY AND LUKE. 

A fantastic 6th place for AMELIA AND ABBIE in the u10 long jump. They bettered their Leinster result by over 30cm to move up the rankings. 

Superb results for all our athletes today and all year. Well done to them and their coaches.
