Some super performances on Saturday by our athletes at the Leinster even age championships hosted by Gowran AC.  
Amelia Brogan got the day underway with a superb run in the non championship u10 race to claim 2nd place. 
A fantastic silver medal winning performance by Matthew Ennis in the u14 race. Eoghan McNerney not too far behind in 13th place and Liam Keogh 27th. All 3 helped Kildare to silver County medals and have qualified for the all Ireland in 4 weeks time in Derry. 
Another marvellous run by Lucy Doolan in the girls u14 to finish in 14th place. Lucy also qualified for the All Ireland along with Holly Fagan 43rd on the Kildare team who finished 3rd. The St Cocas team came 7th with Aoife Killeen 53rd, Siofra O'Cuill 78th, Amy Hedderman 87th and Aoibheann Graham 102nd. 
The boys u12 were all running a year out of age and also running their first Leinsters.  A great run by all the lads. Garbhan Prendergast 44th, Harry Naughton 80th, Charlie Kinsella 86th, Ted Davis 97th and Jan Mujadin 100th. The team came 12th and all the lads are looking forward to 2 week time. 
Sophia Sykes was our last competitor in the u16 girls and she finished 59th and the Kildare team were 3rd in this race. 
U20 athlete Maebh Caffrey had a marvellous run in the u20 race finishing 6th as did Aoife McNerney 6th in the Novice race.  Both Maebh and Aoife came through our juvenile system.
